The interest generated from the previous (sold-out) edition of the book prompted Beltrami and Raybaudi to return to the subject, and in this book they give a more concise account of the local printing of the stamps as detailed in their first book. In this book, however, the authors, in an innovative solution, added a differentiated catalogue that refers to the different print runs. Each local print run is thus catalogued in its own table, which describes the base values, colour varieties, the printing inconsistences, changes of colour and the overprints used for the new series, which was never issued, as well as the relevant prices, where known. A conscious decision was made to set out the tables in the landscape format, so that even the most complex table could be viewed at a glance on one page and at a font size that makes it easy to read.
